Atleti want to keep Falcao; Real would sell Ronaldo for €200 million

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has insisted that he wants to keep in-form striker Radamel Falcao Garcia at the Estadio Vicente Calderón, .

Radamel Enrique García King, Falcao s father, stirred up a bit of controversy after revealing that his son has always wanted to play for European giants Real Madrid, who happen to be Atleti s bitter inner-city rivals, earlier this month.

My son s dream is Real Madrid. Since he was little he has always wanted to play for Real Madrid, .

In response, Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo told AS:

I want to keep Falcao in the squad. For us, the Colombian is a reference point on the pitch and today he is key for Atletico.

I prefer not to comment on any controversy with his father. Atletico is only interested in the footballer.

Falcao, who is also attracting interest from Chelsea and Manchester City, has already bagged nine goals in nine appearances for club and country this season.

To complicate things further, Falcao Senior has also made it clear that his son would welcome a move to the English Premier League.

Falcao has always wanted to play in the Premier League, insisted Falcao Senior.

Ever since he was a boy he has loved Chelsea and has always thought it would be an honour to play for a big Premier League team.

The Colombia international joined Atleti from FC Porto for a reported fee of €40 million in August 2011, and currently has a €55 million release clause in his current contract.

Despite club president Enrique Cerezo s recent revelation, Los Colchoneros may offload their star striker in January amid reports that the Europa League winners have violated the rules of Financial Fair Play, according to UEFA.

Do you think Falcao will finish the 2012-13 season at the Estadio Vicente Calderón?

Real would sell Ronaldo for €200 million

, Real Madrid would be open to selling Portugal international winger Cristiano Ronaldo for a record fee of €200 million despite his €1 billion buy-out clause.

Ronaldo joined Los Blancos for a world record transfer fee of £80 million from Manchester United in June 2009, and has since tallied more goals than games played for the Spanish giants in each of the past two seasons.

The 27-year-old is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most complete footballer on the planet, and will subsequently attract interest from the wealthiest clubs across Europe.

Now then, do you think Ronaldo will see through his contract at Real Madrid?
