Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that Kevin De Bruyne has a buyout clause in his contract, according to the Mail Online.
The Belgium international is one of the stand out players in Guardiola’s team of stars and the club would have to accept a bid for him should that figure £223m – be matched.
However, the City boss has insisted that he is not for sale, describing him as an ‘incredible boy’.
De Bruyne moved to the Etihad Stadium from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015 and he has since racked up one hundred and forty-three appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-five goals.
He would have been named the PFA Player of the Season in the Premier League last term had it not been for Golden Boot winner Mo Salah, while he would have been in contention this term had he not been ruled out with a long term injury.
