data-mm-id=”_fc4cytl6s”>Carson Wentz is coming off a pretty good season as starting quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts. Indianapolis went 9-8 and just missed the playoffs while Wentz threw 27 touchdown passes and a few of the most outrageous interceptions you'll ever seen. The one thing we know is that Wentz isn't the longterm answer in Indy, especially at the current price. There's a belief that #Colts QB Carson Wentz will "'probably" be traded or released before March 19th, per @mortreport. That's when $15M in base salary becomes guaranteed. His future in Indianapolis looks "bleak."— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) February 13, 2022RE: Carson Wentz & the #Colts$15M of his 2022 salary is already fully guaranteed (w/ no offsets)Another $7M of that salary + a $5M roster bonus fully guarantees on March 18th. So before March 18thRelease: $15M Dead Cap/CashTrade: $0 Dead Cap— Spotrac (@spotrac) February 13, 2022So it makes sense that the short Carson Wentz season could be over. There are a few teams that might want to trade for a guy of Wentz if the price is right. And if the price is wrong, there should be even more teams where Wentz would be an upgrade, even if he won't get you to the Super Bowl. Tampa Bay BuccaneersThey're leaving the door open for Tom Brady, but he retired like a week ago. Unless Brady gives them a serious indication he's considering coming back, they need to move on. Chris Godwin is a free agent, but has indicated he wants to keep playing opposite Mike Evans. Wentz would probably look pretty decent in an offense that just had a middle-aged guy throw for about 80 touchdowns and 10,000 yards over the last two seasons. Cleveland BrownsCan the Browns really suffer through another year with Baker Mayfield? Wentz was better in just about every category and would only cost a few million more than Mayfield this season. It's not the kind of quarterback move that would make Odell Beckham Jr. come back, but the Browns have seen much worse over the last few decades. Denver BroncosWentz throws a football for a living and is on the trade block so legally the Broncos must be mentioned as a possible destination. The search for Peyton Manning's successor has been going on for more than a decade and what makes more sense than John Elway landing another ex-Colts QB? You know, as long as Andrew Luck remains happily retired. Arizona CardinalsKyler Murray is coming off another strong season and he just took the Cardinals to the playoffs for the first time in his career. They lost to the Rams in the Wild Card Round and suddenly there's trouble in paradise. Kliff Kingsbury is reportedly looking at alternatives and if Murray goes, Wentz could buy the Cardinals a year.Seattle SeahawksRussell Wilson could be on the trade block which means the Seahawks will be in need of a new quarterback. Geno Smith was passable in three starts last season, but is an unrestricted free agent so it's not even a certainty that they have someone available who has been in their system. Wentz could step in for a season while Pete Carroll ponders life after Russell Wilson. Who knows what a season of Wentz could do for his thoughts about retirement.

Ivan Toney may have been the centre of attention for Brentford but boss Thomas Frank was eager to single out another striker after the 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest.
Toney’s cheeky free-kick, on his return from an eight-month ban for breaching betting rules, set the Bees on their way to a first win in five matches.
But it was Neal Maupay’s well-taken turn and shot which secured a much-needed three points after Forest had made it 2-2.
That is majestic!

Brighton and Hove Albion 0-0 Manchester United (aet, 6-7 pens): Sorry March penalty tees up first ev
Manchester United will contest the first ever Manchester derby FA Cup final after squeezing past Brighton and Hove Albion 7-6 on penalties at the end of a 0-0 draw, Solly March s miss proving decisive.
Brighton had arguably been the better team through 120 minutes of play, but both they and United were wasteful in front of a tense Wembley crowd.
A high-level shoot-out looked as though it was going to go on a while until March s misstep, and Victor Lindelof duly capitalised to send United into a record-equalling 21st FA Cup final.
The EFL Cup winners will face rivals Manchester City for the crown, with United reaching both domestic cup finals in a single season for the first time since 1994.

Marseille play their first home match of the new campaign against Lille this weekend aiming to consolidate their position as pre-season favourites to take their first title in almost two decades.
The fixture is being held in Montpellier as Marseille s Velodrome stadium is still shut following the death of two stage hands setting up a Madonna concert last month.
It s a special game, we d prefer all the same to be playing at the Velodrome in front of our fans and our surroundings. We know the reasons for this move and we don t have a choice, said midfielder Benoit Cheyrou.

Pep Guardiola says he initially wanted to sign Marc-Andre ter Stegen for Manchester City, but has denied reports Lionel Messi and other Barcelona superstars were transfer targets.
Claudio Bravo will be in goal for City at Camp Nou on Tuesday as Group C s heavyweights meet in the first game of a double-header, with Ter Stegen at the other end, having becoming the undisputed number one following the Chilean s departure.
Spanish media reports ahead of the blockbuster fixture claimed Guardiola attempted to coax some of Barca s leading lights to Manchester, including Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes his former Manchester United team-mate Paul Pogba silenced his doubters with his performances in France s successful World Cup campaign.
France beat Croatia 4-2 in Russia on Sunday to clinch their second World Cup title, with Didier Deschamps men looking solid – if not spectacular – throughout their campaign.
Kylian Mbappe drew most of the plaudits for his thrilling displays, but Pogba was a key figure in midfield and really stepped up a level in the knockout phase.
Although Pogba s imaginative passing and technical ability were frequently shown, he also provided evidence of a combative side which has rarely been associated with him during his time at Old Trafford.
And Ibrahimovic is adamant Pogba s performances and trophy …

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique said on Thursday he is confident that Arsenal captain and fellow Spanish international Cesc Fabregas will rejoin him at the Catalan giants in the future.
Fabregas has been linked to a return to La Liga with a move to either Real Madrid or to his boyhood club Barcelona, who he left to join the Gunners in September 2003.
But Pique, who spent several years with Fabregas in Barca s youth team, said he did not believe Fabregas would ever join Barcelona s arch-rivals and it is only a matter of time before he returns to the Catalan side.
I still think he?ll be wearing the Barca shirt one day, he is a fan and I know he?d love to come back. When? That?s another matter entirely, he told a news conference after a training session.
